Fundamental Uptake Models

This is a term used to describe models that estimate uptake into the bloodstream by fundamental processes without implementing a full-featured pharmacokinetic model. TEM provides fundamental uptake models for estimating the uptake by the inhalation, dermal, and ingestion routes.
